Qatari ambassador to Nepal Yousuf Mohammad Ahmed
Mohmmad Al-hail paid a courtesy call to Minister of Labor and Employment
Farmullah Mansoor. Ambassador Yousuf Mohammad Ahmed Mohmmad Al-hail has said that Qatar government will not let
any Nepali migrant worker face difficulties due to the recent diplomatic
tensions seen in the Gulf region.
Ambassador Al-hail said that life in Qatar is normal as before despite countries led by Saudi Arabia imposing tough economic measures against Qatar for its alleged support to terrorist organizations. The envoy had asked Minister Mansoor not to worry about Nepali workers as the Qatar government has left no stone unturned to make sure that no one in the country faced any kind of hardships, according to a press statement issued by the Ministry of Labor and Employment.
During the meeting, minister Mansoor and ambassador also discussed the issue related to safety and security of Nepalese migrants workers in Qatar. During the meeting secretary of Ministry of Labor and Employment Laxman Prasad Mainali was also present.
