Everything has a limit. We have tolerated every wrong doing by the Nepali Congress and the CPN-UML. This coalition has made it clear that it can accept all kinds of political formula to end the present impasse. If other parties want, we are ready to reinstate the CA.  However, major political parties must accept the single identity based ethnic federalism. As a Madhesh based party, our demand is one Madhesh and one Pradesh. Instead of bringing any political solution, Nepali Congress and CPN-UML have been trying to press the government for nothing. Nepali Congress and CPN-UML have already submitted a memorandum to the president to dismiss the elected government. Since the president has no right in the constitution, except as a ceremonial head of the state, he cannot take any action inimical to constitutional provisions. Prime minister Baburam Bhattarai has repeatedly told that he will not stick to the chair. He favors a national consensus government. The prime minister has shown so much flexibility that even he agreed to revive the Constituent Assembly if Nepali Congress and CPN-UML agreed on the single identity based federal state and to settle the disputes that appeared in the CA. Similarly, the prime minister has also given them the option to go for elections for CA. However, Nepali Congress and CPN-UML leaders have shown their interest to go to power. At a time when there is no CA and parliament and other elected representative body, the resignation of the prime minister will create a constitutional and political vacuum, which will be impossible to fill. Looking at his constitutional and political responsibility, prime minister Baburam Bhattarai is leading the cabinet. He has made it clear that he is not going to be the obstacle in the process of formation of national consensus government.

Federal Democratic Alliance is an alliance of all federal parties which believe in single identity based federalism. This is not for any political confrontation but to consolidate the federal forces in Nepal. Our coalition includes UCPN-Maoist, Samyukta Madheshi Loktantrik Front and other political parties which believe in federalism. This front will last until the next elections. Everyone knows that Constituent Assembly collapsed because of anti-identity based federalism stand taken by Nepali Congress and CPN-UML. We want to expose them in the coming elections. This alliance will also foil the conspiracy of Nepali Congress and CPN-UML against current elected and legitimate government led by Dr. Baburam Bhattarai. This alliance was born after the Nepali Congress and CPN-UML started to counter federalism.  In the last few months, Nepali Congress and CPN-UML have been making every effort to destabilize the country by organizing politically motivated agitation. Our alliance will also counter such conspiracy politically.

From the very beginning, Nepali Congress and CPN-UML started to work against federalism and the spirit of Madheshi agitation. Their whole concept is guided by narrow views of Khas nationalism. However, our alliance is broader and it will work to protect the rights of oppressed, socially backward community, Madheshis and Janjatis, who believe in single identity based federalism. In coming elections, they will see our strength. As Nepali Congress and CPN-UML have committed crime against Madheshis, they will be wiped out from Madhesh in the next elections.  Both the parties are launching agitation to pressurize the prime minister to step down. Although the alliance claims that it is essential to institutionalize state restructuring with secularism, republicanism and federalism as per the spirit and demand of the people´s war, the Jana Aandolan, the Madhes movement and the Indigenous, Dalit, women's and Muslim movement, its immediate goal is to remain in power. This is the first government in Nepal which is fully represented by Madhesh and is working for the promotion of the cause of Madhesh and Madheshi people. This is the reason so many forces are trying to dicredit us.
