With a view to further enhancing the existing excellent trade and business relations between Bangladesh and Nepal and to introduce and familiarize the Nepalese entrepreneurs and consumers to the wide variety of products that are being produced and exported globally by Bangladesh, the Embassy of People Republic of Bangladesh in Nepal is organizing a five-day single country trade fair, the “3rd Bangladesh Expo-2017” from 17-21 January 2017 (4-8 Magh 2073) at Kathmandu,

The Expo will be inaugurated by Deepak Bohra, Minister for Supplies, Government of Nepal and Ms. Mashfee Binte Shams, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Nepal on 17 January 2017.

 “The Expo will showcase products of entrepreneurs and renowned business houses from Bangladesh including Building and construction materials, Ready Made Garments, Sarees, Ladies dress, Plastic products, Cosmetics, Ceramics/tiles, Jute and jute products, Leather products, Textiles, Footwear, TV/Freeze/Fan with other electronics items, Handicrafts, Generators/machineries, Processed Food, IT Solutions, Education Institutions, Consumer Products, Batteries, Cement, Bathroom Fittings, Motor Cycle, Home Appliance, Jewelry etc.   Selected Nepalese exporters have also been invited to showcase their products at the Expo with a view to promoting Nepalese exports to Bangladesh.  

“It is expected that the Expo will create a platform for exchange of information and ideas and provide an opportunity for entrepreneurs of the two countries to explore B-2-B linkages for harnessing the available synergies in the areas of trade and business for mutual benefit,” said a press release issued by Embassy of Bangladesh.

 The Embassy is being assisted by event management company U Turn, Bangladesh in collaboration of Synthesis Exhibitions and Events Pvt. Ltd, Nepal in organizing the Expo.
