Chairman of Himalayan Bank Ltd. Manoj Bahadur Shrestha inaugurated the bank's branch office in Samakhushi. The opening ceremony was attended by people from various walks of life.

Addressing the gathering, chairman Shrestha said that the bank has made a steady progress since its establishment almost two decades ago. "The bank has been doing quite well serving Nepalese people in different parts of the country," said Shrestha. "The bank has a deposit of 62.92 billion rupees and it has already lent 43.27 billion rupees. "
