Indian ambassador to Nepal Ranjit Rae inaugurated the Main Gate of the Embassy of India at Lainchaur side.

As part of the Chancery construction project, a new gate has been built with enhanced facilities for the visitors. According to Indian Embassy, this will be the main gate to for visitors to enter in Indian Embassy.

As old Laichaur side gate open, the gate near KendriyaVidyalaya(near Shangrila hotel) in Lazimpat will be closed for general public.

Indian Embassy requested all the visitors of the to use the Lainchaur-side gate from 1 March 2016.
