Indian Foreign Secretary Concluded His Nepal Visit

Indian Foreign Secretary Subrahmanyam Jaishankar left Nepal following his two days visit to Nepal. During his stay in Nepal, Indian foreign secretary met various leaders.

Indian Foreign Secretary Subrahmanyam Jaishankar left Nepal following his two days visit to Nepal. During his stay in Nepal, Indian foreign secretary met various leaders.

“I have had fruitful discussions with Foreign Secretary Shankar Bairagi during which we reviewed progress in our multi-faceted bilateral relationship,” said Indian foreign secretary before leaving to Nepal.

“I also called on the President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav, the Prime Minister Sushil Koirala, the Chairman of Constituent Assembly Subash Chandra Nembang and Foreign Minister Mahendra Bahadur Pandey besides meeting other political leaders of Nepal,” said in a press statement.  “I conveyed to them that India is committed to working with the people of Nepal for a democratic, stable, peaceful and prosperous Nepal.  Our relations with Nepal are, and will continue to be, a matter of the highest priority for India said a press release issued by Indian Embassy.”
