The joint training between Nepal Army’s ranger battalion and US Army’s 20th Special Tactics Squadron, 353 Special Operation Group commenced joint military training.

US Army’s Special Forces and Nepal Army has been launching this kind of joint training since last many years. To conduct the training, US Military trainer arrived in Nepal two weeks ago with training equipments.

According to a press release issued by Directorate of Public Relations, Nepal Army, the training component include High Angle Rescue, Confined Space/Structural Collapse, Mission Planning, SCUBA Fundamental, Swimming/Water Confidence Training, Swift Water Rescue Training, Rotary Wing/Alternate Insertion Extraction Techniques in Land and Water and High altitude/Alpine Mountaineering.
