Kumar Lamsal, the new CEO of Kist Bank, has assumed office. According to a bank statement, deputy CEO Ashok Sherchan has also joined office. Lamsal was the CEO of Sanima Bank and Sherchan was working with Prabhu Development Bank as the CEO earlier. When Lamsal was at the helm of the Sanima Bank, it was upgraded to a class ´A´ bank from class ´B´. "Deputy CEO Sherchan has 18 years of experience working with banks like Nepal Bangladesh Bank and NCC Bank," the statement added. Meanwhile, the meeting of the Board of Directors (BoD) of Bank of Kathmandu has renewed the contract of its CEO Ajay Shrestha for another four years.
