The Embassy of the Republic of Korea announces that the National Institute for International Education (NIIED) under the Ministry of Education of Republic of Korea Opens international scholarship for Nepalese students for 2016 Global Korea Scholarship Program for International Students for Graduate Degree to be conducted in Korea in the academic year of 2016-2019.

According to a press release issued by Embassy of Korea, the students will be selected on the basis of strong academic credentials and their commitments to contribute to development of the country. There are already 45 Nepalese students pursuing their education under the program. The application date for the students is not late than 18 March 2016 and class will be resumed in August 2016.

According to Korean Embassy, the students will be selected by NIIED on the basis of their academic performance. Those whose application do not fulfill the basic criteria will be automatically disqualify.
