Just a month before the first Nepal-China joint military exercise, Indo-Nepal joint Group training EX-SURYA KIRAN-XI" launched in Pithauragadh India. The eleventh training exercise includes disaster management, counter terrorism and Jungle warfare. Led by lieutenant colonial Sudhir KC, 314 Nepalese military personal are taking part. The joint military exercise will be concluded on March 20.

According to a press release issued by Nepal Army, 350 Indian army personal are also taking part in the exercise, The tenth episode of Nepal-India joint military exercise conducted in Nepal. Nepal-India joint military exercise has been conducting since 2009. According to Nepal Army, this kind of joint military exercise helped to enhance capability of army personal
