More than 17 people were killed and some 50 others were injured when a passenger bus en route to Tikapur, Kailai from Kalikot met with an accident at Kalakhola of Pokharikada VDC of Surkhet,500 kilometers west of Kathmandu on Sunday evening.

According to police, the bus, Na 4 Kha 6857, skidded off the road and fell some 600 meters down causing the casualties at around 6 pm this evening Annapurna Post reports.  The cause of the accident is yet to know.
