Chairman of Constituent Assembly’s Constitution Draft Committee Krishna Prasad Sitaula said the committee will draft the new constitution within a week. Amid a controversial proposal of CA chairman Subhash Chandra Nembang seeking sole responsibility for constitution drafting, Sitaula hinted asked CA to send the proposal sent by dispute settlement committee. 

“Drafting the constitution is the sole responsibility of Drafting Committee and CA cannot write the constitution,” said chairman Sitaula. “The committee will start the drafting process soon after it receives the proposal send by dispute settle committee.
