Nepal-India Joint Military Exercise Concluded

Indo Nepal Joint training Group Ex-Surya-Kiran XI concluded today. Lieutenant General of Nepal Army Shekhar Singh Basnyat announced the closer of the joint training.

Indo Nepal Joint training Group Ex-Surya-Kiran XI concluded today. Lieutenant General of Nepal Army Shekhar Singh Basnyat announced the closer of the joint training.

During the closing ceremony, Brigadier General Rakesh Manocha of 119 Infantry Brigade and other senior army officers of Nepal and India presented.

There were 300 army personal from Nepal Army and 305 from Indian Army too part in various exercise including counter intelligence, jungle warfare, disaster management, rescue Pandemic/Epidemic Disaster, Counter Insurgency, Counter Terrorism, Disaster Relief and Casualty Evacuation by using helicopters.

According to a press release issued by Nepal Army, the army believes that this kinds of joint exercise between two army will strengthen the existing long traditional relations between the two armies.
