External Affairs Minister of India Salman Khurshid’s visit to Nepal, from July 9-10, 2013 at the invitation of the Foreign Minister of Nepal, Madhav Prasad Ghimire, is his first visit to this country as External Affairs Minister. Former External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna had visited Nepal in April 2011.

According to the press release of Indian Embassy, the two Ministers will exchange views on further development of bilateral relations and other issues of mutual interest. Indian foreign minister Khurshid will also call on the President and Chairman, Council of Ministers of Nepal.
