The Ambassador of Japan to Nepal Masashi OGAWA amidst a function held at the Ambassador’s Residence, conferred Certificates of Appreciation to three individuals and one organization who have worked for a long time to strengthen the relationship between Japan and Nepal.

The Certificates are awarded to individuals and an organization that have contributed to the duties and responsibilities of Japan’s Diplomatic Missions and are deemed as having performed significantly in the promotion of friendship and mutual understanding between Japan with other countries in the promotion of international economic and technical cooperation, and in the promotion of cultural activities and public relations.

“Those who received a Certificate of Appreciation at today’s Ceremony were Takashi Miyahara, Managing Director, Trans Himalayan Tours Pvt. Ltd, Dr. Kenjiro Narato Chairman, NGO “Cross”, Dr. Basant Pant Chairman, Annapurna Neurological Institute and Allied Sciences and Japanese Universities Alumni Association, Nepal (JUAAN),” said a press release issued by Japanese Embassy.

Speaking on the occasion, ambassador Masashi  Ogawa expressed his confidence that the recipients’ cooperation and incessant contributions will continue to play a significant role in strengthening the friendly and cordial relationship between Japan and Nepal, both at country-to-country and people-to-people levels.
