Korea´s renowned motorcar manufacturing company, Ssangyong, has opened its showroom of light vehicles at Uttardhoka in the capital.

Korean Ambassador to Nepal Choe Yong-jin inaugurated the showroom opened by the Constant Business Group, the authorized dealer of the company in Nepal.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ambassador Yong-jin said people fond of motor cars prefer buying the Ssangyong products across the world though it was the third biggest car manufacturer company in Korea.

He expressed the confidence that the opening of the showroom would promote Korea-Nepal trade and strengthen bilateral ties.

Speaking at the program, chairman of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce Rajesh Kaji Shrestha said the private sector have remarkably contributed to the national economy through business and trade. He claimed that the private sector in coordination with the government had been seriously working for promoting the export of Nepali goods as well. The minimum price of the Ssangyong motorcar is Rs 4.8 million in Nepal.
