US ambassador to Nepal Alaina B. Teplitz visited Arghakhanchi this week to meet Peace Corps Nepal volunteers and youth working in their community. She visited various agricultural training sites, marked the end of “CAMP GROW” to kick-start youth clubs to focus on agriculture and soil conservation, and thanked Nepal government officials for their help and coordination.
During her recent visit to Arghakhanchi, Ambassador Teplitz appreciated the work that Peace Corps Nepal volunteers (PCVs) do in their communities and participated in a mural painting by PCVs and community youth club members from Sandhikharka.
According to a US Embassy Facebook page, ambassador Teplitz also spoke with Radio Arghakhanchi about Peace Corps, youth issues, the 70th anniversary of U.S.-Nepal bilateral relations and the U.S. government’s work in the region.
