Chinese Embassy celebrated Chinese Tibetan Losar by organizing a cultural show in Kathmandu. Chinese ambassador to Nepal Wu Chuntai also hosted a reception. During the program, artists and singers from the Tibet Autonomous Region of China performed musical programs, including traditional Tibetan dances. 

 

The function was attended by Kathmandu based diplomats of various countries, members of constituent assembly, high government officials, business people, common people from various walks of life and Kathmandu based Chinese diplomats and Chinese citizen. Starting with a song by Wag dai, gong with Dance of Spring, Zhai xi cai dan, Zhou mao ji, Gong bao cai rang, Le mao cao and other groups of Tibetan artists performed the dances and sang songs.

 

Nepal Army Chief General Gaurav Sumsher JBR was the chief guest of the program. Welcoming the guest, Chinese ambassador to Nepal Wu Chuntai highlighted the importance of Losar in China’s Tibet.
