In a constant endeavor to make its services transparent and more accessible to Indian nationals resident in Nepal, Embassy of India in Kathmandu will hold "Open House" on every last Friday of the month starting from March 28, 2014 from 1500-1600 at Consular Wing, Embassy of India, Lainchaur.

According to a press release of Indian Embassy, during the Open House, Ranjit Rae, Ambassador of India to Nepal, will be available for meeting members of the Indian community without appointment. They would be free to raise any issue of concern to them with the Ambassador.
