Nepal Britain Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized 15th and 16th Annual General Meeting on Tuesday (May 15, 2012) at the British Embassy.
Speaking at the occasion, British ambassador to Nepal John TucKnott said UK is looking at power, energy, tourism, infrastructure and various other sectors for investment and investments might come in partnership with other Nepali, Indian and Chinese companies in the upcoming years. But according to the ambassador, Nepal has to compete within Asia and offer better packages then other Asian countries for investments.
“We think there are opportunities here in Nepal and we want to work through the chamber for building a prosperous new Nepal,” he said.
President of Nepal Britain Chamber of Commerce and Industry Rajendra Khetan said there is keen interest for trade between Nepal and Britain.
