Wasfia Nazreen became the 2nd Bangladeshi woman mountaineer to conquer the Mount Everest.


“Wasfia has a very long experience on mountaineering,” said Bangladeshi ambassador to Nepal Neem Chandra Bhowmik.


Wasfia is trying to conquer the 7-summits of the world. The Seven Summits are the highest mountains of each of the seven continents.


“This is not only my achievement but this is the achievement of the whole Bangladesh and it is a team effort of Bangladesh and Nepal,” said Wasfia Nazreen at a program organized at the Bangladesh Embassy.
