NCP leader DC Tripathi met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Saturday. Tripathi, however, said the meeting has nothing to do with the stand-off between his party and the Congress and the issue was not discussed. He said his meeting with the Prime Minister was in the capacity as chairman of the Nepal Democracy Solidarity Committee India in which all political parties and civil society groups are represented.
Tripathi said he discussed the situation in Nepal with the Prime Minister.

"We discussed the situation in Nepal. The meeting has nothing to do with the crisis involving the Congress and NCP," he said.
