Poverty Alleviation Fund, applicable from Sunday, has introduced a Citizen’s Charter and ‘code of conduct’ to enhance its duties, responsibilities and reach.

The 12-point Citizen’s Charter has included the assigned work to be carried out by PAF officials, departments, and committees at national and local level on given deadlines. It has also included officials who will listen to queries. Similarly, 25-point code of conduct has mentioned that work has to be completed on time and if deadline is not met, then service seekers must be informed with valid reasons.

It has directed PAF officials to be people centric by taking their queries positively and help implement programmes started by PAF at the national and local level.
