Chief of Nepal Army General Gaurav Sumsher Rana opened "Military Service Center" at Pashupatinath Premises. One of the aims of the premises is to provide necessary services during cremation and offering Puja in Pashupatinath by the family members of retired servicemen. It will also provide limited services to general public.

Established in premises of Upendreshwor Mahadev and Taleju Temple-both the temples were renovated with the support Nepal Army, Nepal Army Welfare Trust will provide necessary budget to operate the center. According to Directorate of Public Relations of Nepal Army, Nepal Army Chief General Rana also planted trees inside the premises.
