British Ambassador to Nepal Andy Sparkes visited Dharmapur Village in Jhapa district. Upon his arrival,  British Ambassador Sparkes was being greeted by people of  Dharmapur village in Jhapa.Ambassador Sparkes inspected the mushroom farming.

He visited the village to see mushroom farming done with the help of the UK government. According to British Embassy press release, 19 women from 19 households had received Mushroom Production training. Seed and shed construction support was provided to them.

Women were provided assistance to start the enterprise equivalent to NRs.265825. With support they have earned NRs.181580 by selling mushroom within 5 months. Recently they have extended the enterprise in individual level.
