Indian Ambassador to Nepal Ranjit Rae handed over 716 vehicles to Nepal Police, APF and ministry of Home. Ambassador handed over the key of the vehicles to Home Secretary Janardan Sharma in absence of Home Minister Madhav Prasad Ghimire.
According to a press release of Indian Embassy, it was the part of Indian government continual support to Nepal government. During the ceremony, Indian ambassador Rae expressed that India will continue to support Nepal.
Similarly, Ambassador Ranjit Rae also handed over 48 Vehicles to Election Commission of Nepal. Rae handed over the vehicles to Chief Election Commissioner Neelkanth Uprety amidst a function.
The vehicles are the part of India’s support to forthcoming elections of Constituent Assembly, which is going to be held on November 19.
