British ambassador Andy Sparkes CMG  paid an introductory call on Prime minister Sushil Koirala. The ambassador Sparkes handed over a letter of congratulations from British Prime Minister David Cameron in which British prime minister Cameron set out the UK's support for PM Koirala's ambition to finalize a new constitution for Nepal within one year.

According to a press release of British Embassy, ambassador Sparkes was accompanied by Defense Attaché Colonel Sean Harris OBE and DFID Nepal Head Dr Gail Marzetti. (far left), paid an introductory call today on Prime Minister Sushil Koirala.

Similarly, ambassador Andy Sparkes CMG paid an introductory call on Constituent Assembly Speaker Subash Nembang. Ambassador Sparkes congratulated Nembang on his re-election and wished him luck in the important task of guiding the Constituent Assembly's work to deliver a new constitution. Ambassador Sparkes assured Speaker Nembang of the UK's ongoing willingness to support this process.
