A delegation led by President Narendra Kumar Basnyat of Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) met Sunil Bahadur Thapa at his office. During the meeting CNI president Basnyat and his delegation presented the problems faced by Nepal's industrialists in various matters.

CNI president also discussed with the minister on Nepal's growing trade gap and balance of payment in trade. Basnyat demanded to establish Grievance Headling and Redress all Cell and special export package.

According to the CNI press release, Minister Thapa assured the delegation that his ministry will take necessary step to increase Nepal's current export and reduce import.

Minister Thapa revealed that the government is planning to announce a package for exporters and other policy change necessary to facilitate the trade with third countries.

During the meeting, minister of State of Supply and Commerce was also present.
