NIC Asia Bon 2077 received overwhelming response. “We are pleased to announce that there was an overwhelming response to the “7.25% NIC Asia Bond 2077” issue, which opened on 4th May 2014, with the fullNPR 500 million being subscribed within 4 days on 7th May 2014,” said press release issued by NIC Asia Bank
The 7-year bonds carry a coupon rate of 7.25% per annum. NPR 400 million of the bonds was offered through Private Placement and NPR 100 million was issued through a public offer. The bonds are rated "LA Minus” by ICRA Nepal. The bonds will be listed on Nepal Stock Exchange enabling trading in the secondary market.
