World Mobilization, a Brazilian INGO working in Nepal on children's issues, won the second AIN Futsal Competition 2014. World Mobilization defeated Practical Action Nepal by 3-1. Chief secretary Leela Mani Paudyal gave away the trophies and certificate to the winners and runner up of the tournament. In the tournament, FHI 360 took the third place.
FHI 360, Practical Action, Save the Children, World Mobilization, VSO, Room to Read, WWF and World Vision. World Mobilization’s Ronaldo received a best Player award. All together 22 INGOs took part in the tournament. Similarly, Sumit Shah received trophy for highest scorer. Best Female Player went to Anjana KC.
Organized by Association for International NGOs (AIN) in Nepal, the tournament lasted for three weeks. AIN chair Ashutosh Tiwari and chief secretary Paudyal also spoke about the importance of the tournament.
In the presence of large numbers of AIN staffs, the final tournament last almost one and half hour.
