Embassy of Russian Federation celebrated Russia Day , national day of Russia with the gathering of people of various walks of life at the Embassy premises on June 12,2014.

Ambassador of Russian Federation to Nepal Dr. Sergey Vasilievich Velichkin hosted a reception on the occasion of Russian Day. Vice President Permanand Jha was the chief guest of the Russian national day celebration.

On the occasion, ministers, high ranking government officials including secretaries, senior officers of Nepal Army and Nepal Police, former prime ministers, former ministers, leaders of various political parties, Kathmandu based foreign diplomats, members of civil society were present.

Ambassador Dr. Sergey Vasilievich Velichkin welcomed the guest at the embassy premises.
