The Himalayan Bank has provided financial support to the Council of Community Health Services, Swoyambhu, Dallu Awas, and Kathmandu to purchase 100 MA X-ray machines. Under its Corporate Social Responsibility, the Himalayan Bank Ltd has supported Council of Community Health Services, Swoyambhu, Dallu Awas, and Kathmandu. Chief Executive of Himalayan Bank Ashoke Sumsher JBR handed over a cheque to president of the Services Hari Gopal Shrestha.
The money will be used to purchase new generation 100 MA X-ray machines to be installed for the services. Established in 2055 by social workers, the services are providing free medical services to the people living in the area as well as people from outside Kathmandu.
According to a press release issued by Himalayan Bank Limited, during the handing ceremony taking place at the services office, senior officers of the Bank and members of the Services were also present.
