India provided Rs. 47.739 million to Nepal for landslide and flood victims

Indian ambassador to Nepal Ranjit Rae handed over a cheque of NRs 47.739 million (IRs.3 Crores) prime minister Sushil Koirala as India’s contribution towards the relief and rehabilitation works being carried out by the Nepal government for the victims of recent landslides and floods. 

According to a press release issued by Indian Embassy, India remains committed to continue working closely with Nepal for further cooperation in the field of Water Resources, including preventing and mitigating damage from natural disasters that do not recognize borders.
