It is a rare occasion to see 93 prominent artists coming together for a cause. Artists and curators of Siddhartha Art Gallery have made the rare thing happen. At the event organized to support the victims of flooding and landslides, Sangita Thapa plans to raise one million rupees.
As Sangita Thapa proposed her idea, artists of different ages and views came to Siddhartha Art Gallery with their painting works to support the floods and landslides victims of Nepal. "We are displaying the paintings for the greater cause of the country and people, "said Thapa.
Along with old artists, most enthusiastic ones are young artists. Inaugurated by Minister of Communication Minendra Rijal, the exhibit displays various paintings.
