ADBL employees demanded the resignation of chief executive officer of the bank

Employees at Agriculture Development Bank Ltd (ADBL) have been in the strike for the last two weeks putting various demands with the management. Organized by Nepal Financial with the participation of first class officers who are demanding to withdraw discriminatory capping system as earlier agreement, the banking activities are no completely paralyzed.

Organized by Financial Institute Employees Union of Nepal Central Committee, ADBL employee Unions affiliated to the Federation FIEUN, the agitators put forth eleven points demanding the removal of capping system.

Supported by the large number of employees of the bank, the strikers also demanding the resignation of Chief Executive Officer Tej Bahadur Budhathoki and Chairman Pramod Karki.

"As Management has ignored our peaceful demonstration, we will come out more aggressively in coming fourth round disrupting the day to day activities of the bank,"  Yagya Bhattarai President of union.
