NIC Asia bank has added three new branches in the eastern region of Nepal. The recently opened branches are in Chandragadhi, Biratchowk and Mirchaiya. Chairman of the Bank Jagadish Prasad Agrawal inaugurated Chandragadhi and Biratchowk branches of the bank. Chief Executive officer Sashin Kumar Joshi inaugurated its Mirchaiya branch.
According to a press release issued by Neetika Ghimire of NIC-Asia Bank, with 66 branches and 61 ATM and internet networking (www.nicasiabank.com), NIC-Asia is one of the largest commercial banks of Nepal. The bank has made Rs. 1.48 billion profits, with net profit of over Rs. 810 million, at running profit 39 percent and net profit 27 percent last year respectively.
Meanwhile,NIC-Asia Bank handed over the check of Rs.551,000.00 to prime minister Sushil Koirala for the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund under its corporate social responsibility. According a press release issued by Neetika Ghimire, Corporate Communication Officer of the Bank, director of the Bank board Ram Chandra Shanghai handed over the check to prime minister Koirala at the prime minister's residence.
NIC-Asia Bank has been providing support to various social organizations and victims of disasters under its corporate social responsibility.
