Nepal is hosting the 32nd Annual Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Project next year. Organizing a press conference, Jonathan Reckford, chief executive officer of Habitat for Humanity International informed that the project this year would be hosted in Pokhara from November 1 to 6 next year. Speaking at the program, officials said the project would be attended by more than 2,000 national and international volunteers.
The project envisions construction of 100 houses in Nepal under the initiation of former American president Jimmy Carter and first lady Rosalynn Carter. Prior to Nepal, the project had been conducted in countries like Mexico, Canada, Hungary, South Africa, South Korea, India, Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, China and Vietnam, among others.
