Sanjeev Rajbhandari, former president of the Computer Association of Nepal (CAN), has been elected to the post of vice-chairman of Asian Oceania Computing Industry Organization (ASOCIO).
The association, which was established in 1984, is a group of IT industry associations representing economies in the Asia and Oceania region.
It was established with the objective of promoting, encouraging and fostering relationships and trade among its members and to develop the region´s computing industry, according to a statement issued by CAN. The association has 22 countries of the region as members.
