Ambassador of Finland to Nepal Asko Luukkainen and Ritva Luukkainen hosted the reception on the occasion of the 97^th Anniversary of the Independence of Finland.

Vice president Parmananda Jha was the chief guest of the program. Present in the reception hosted by Ambassador to Finland  were the heads and officials of the diplomatic mission based in Kathmandu, the heads of constitutional bodies, senior officials of the government of Nepal, Industrialists, businessmen, Finish Citizens residing in Nepal in the course of work and other distinguished persons.

The reception started with the presentation by Finland’s citizens the national anthems of both Nepal and Finland.
