The CPN-Maoist Spokesperson Pampha Bhusal along with other leaders reached the residence of Prime Minister Sushil Koirala in Baluwatar this morning and handed over a 15-point memorandum demanding the same.
“The party demanded dissolution of the CA as it could not promulgate the much anticipated 'people's constitution', the memorandum stated,” reports The Himalayan Times.
The party also demanded scrapping all cases of conflict era, early release of its cadres who were nabbed during the CA elections and rehabilitation of squatters and flood victims among others.
The party warned that they would hit the streets if the government did not pay any heed to its demands promptly.
