As Kathmandu valley got the first rain fall after October. According to Metrological Forecasting Division, there will be mostly cloudy throughout the country today. According to forecast, rain likely to continue at many places in the country and there is also chances of heavy snowfall at a few places of the high mountaineous region.
The normal life of the northern belt in Gorkha district has been affected severely due to heavy snowfall. The flurry that started on Saturday night has been continually falling on even in Sunday morning, police informed.

All the telephone lines and mobile phones in the northern area of the district have stopped working. Deputy Superintendent of Police, Ramesh Thapa informed that even police communication sets are not been working properly due to the extreme cold in the area.
Similarly, normal life of the Jomsom has been affected severly due to heavy snowfall. Likewise, it’s snowing in Magri, Pulu, Kimri, Dolfu, Mugu, Rara, Seri, Khamale among others VDCs of Mugu district since this afternoon.
