Madhesi Janadhikar Forum-Nepal (MJF-N)’s Chairman Upendra Yadav has said the promulgation of new constitution by January 22 is impossible now given the present political scenario when top leaders of major parties, Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN-UML, are making attempts to topple the Sushil Koirala-led government.

Yadav, dubbing the alleged attempts as irrational, revealed that when he was invited for talks by the parties, the change of guard of the government was projected as a prime issue.

“Some NC and UML leaders are trying to make themselves the next prime minister by replacing the Koirala-led government,” said Yadav.
