The Embassy of Pakistan has kept a condolence book at the embassy for those willing to express solidarity with Pakistan and its people in her national tragedy following a terrorist attack on army-run school in Peshawar on Tuesday.

Pakistan Embassy in Kathmandu has flown national flag at half mast and all scheduled festive events have also been cancelled to mourn the killings of at least 140 school children and others.

Issuing a press statement, Embassy of Pakistan in Kathmandu said Pakistan stands united in condemning this heinous crime and remains resolute in its commitment to eliminate terrorism from the soil of Pakistan.

“In this hour of grief, our hearts go out to the families of those young children and their teaching staff who lost their lives. Such cold-blooded cowardly acts cannot weaken the resolve of the people, government and the armed forces of Pakistan to combat terrorism in all its forms and manifestations,” said the statement.
