NIC foundation, a charity wing of NIC ASIA Bank, has been providing food materials to the orphaned children of Namuna Bal Griha, Urlabari, Morang, since 2067 B.S. In this connection the foundation handed over a support equivalent to Rs. 204,000/- to the Bal Griha amidst a function on December 1, 2014. In line with the Bank’s belief that well-nourished and well-brought up children of today are a foundation for a better tomorrow, NIC ASIA has been conducting this type of support program all over the country and such programs have been benefiting a large number of children.

"NIC Foundation has been working in the community to help bring constructive changes in the society. Its major focus is on health and education and has been providing support for scholarships to disabled and orphaned girl children, free health checkups, blood donation programs, old age homes, orphanages and emergency medical situations for the needy in various parts of the country," said a press release issued by Neetika Ghimire, Corporate Communication Officer, NIC Asia Bank.
