Prime Minister Sushil Koirala has said that a new constitution could be issued as per schedule if the parties gave up their rigidness.
Inaugurating the 3rd National Trade Union Conference organized by Joint Trade Union Coordination Center, here on Sunday, PM Koirala pointed out the need of accommodating aspirations of all to promulgate the new constitution in the slated time.
“The new constitution was important for peace, stability and democracy therefore it should be issued on slated time”, Koirala said.
On a separate note, the PM said that the problem being faced by workers would be resolved by forming a labor commission during his tenure, while issues related to them would be addressed in the new constitution reports RSS.
International Trade Union Confederation, Asia Pacific Region General Secretary Noriyuki Suzuki said that 60 million laborers are associated with the federation and assuring the rights of them remains challenging.
