Visiting Bangladeshi Army Chief General Iqbal Karim Bhuiyan called on Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) General Gaurav Shumsher Rana at Nepal Army headquarters on Monday.

According to NA Directorate of Public Relations, the discussions were held on issues of mutual benefit during the courtesy call. Earlier today, the Bangladeshi Army Chief attended a wreath laying ceremony at the Army Pavilion in Tundikhel.

He also visited the Shivapuri-based Army Command and Staff College and also called on Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sushil Koirala. Bhuiyan is schedule to attend a dinner reception to be hosted in his honor later this evening.

He will also visit NA Valley Division Headquarters and Nepal Army Military Academy at Kharipati, Bhaktapur.
