United Nations Under Secretary General for Political Affairs Jeffrey Feltman is arriving in Kathmandu on January 13 on a three-day visit to Nepal.

Under Secretary Feltman is arriving in Nepal to learn about efforts being made by Nepal´s major political parties to promulgate a new constitution.

According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Feltman will be holding meeting with top political leaders of various major political parties THT Online reports.

This comes in the wake of fast approaching deadline of January 22 for promulgation of a new constitution. Feltman will fly back to New York on January 15. Feltman had last visited Nepal as UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon´s envoy in March, 2013.
