Indian Ambassador to Nepal Ranjit Rae called on CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli at the latter´s Balkot-based residence in Bhaktapur on Thursday.
At the meeting that, matters relating to Nepal´s current political complexities, forthcoming constitution and political consensus were discussed, according to Oli´s personal secretary Ramesh Acharya.
The Indian Ambassador was learnt to be in favor of promulgating a new constitution within January 22. The Indian Ambassador´s meeting with the UML Chair took place in the context when Oli´s relation with the Madheshi Front has turned sour was viewed significantly.
