United Nations General Seceretary Ban Ki -moon in a letter to UCPN-Maoist chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal has requested to play a special role in delivering the constitution on time.

 

Earlier, speaking at a program organized by the Indigenous Ethnic National Protest Group led by Padma Ratna Tuladhar, Prachanda informed that the UN vice General Secretary, Jefreey Feltman - in-charge of political affairs was coming carrying an additional message from Moon.

 

Chudamani Khadka, personal secretary to Dahal, had informed that, General Secretary Moon had sent a letter to Dahal, this morning. On the occasion, Dahal said that the attention of the international community was dragged regarding the role played by him in timely enactment of the constitution. Dahal had also proposed a youth volunteer task force for pressing identity-based federalism as there were powers in the constituent Assembly acting against it.
