After a long discussion, cabinet meeting headed by Prime Minister Sushil Koirala nominated former minister and power leader of Nepali Congress Deep Kumar Upadhyaya as an ambassador of Nepal to India and Dr. Arjun Karki as Nepal's envoy to the USA.

NC leader Upadhyaya who lost the elections of Constituent Assembly from Kapilvastu in the last elections with a thin margin of vote.

President of Federation for Non-governmental organization, Dr.Karki also was head of RRN, an NGO working in different parts of Nepal. He is currently char of LDC Poverty Group. Karki is nominated under the recomendation of CPN-UML.

After the hearing at Legislature Parliament, their name will be sent in concerned countries.
